The Hillcrest Forest Neighborhood Association was founded in 1984 and encompasses
over 1,400 households. It is one of the largest neighborhood associations in Dallas.

The HFNA:
Our Association is a member of the North Dallas Neighborhood Alliance.
- Protects the neighborhood interests on zoning and land use issues.
- Supports and promotes neighborhood crime-prevention organizations.
- Sponsors an annual 4th of July Parade and other neighbor-to-neighbor events.
- Keeps neighbors informed through semi-annual newsletters and periodic emails.
- Maintains a website for continuous updates on neighborhood news & activities.
- Communicates important information via e-mail to paid members.
- Supports our neighborhood schools.
- Works to enhance the beauty of our area.
- Monitors and addresses traffic issues.
- Maintains a database of homeowners and distributes a Directory to paid members.
